although other melting processes can be used, the vast majority of ppa resins are processed by traditional injection molding. pre drying ppa raw material to a humidity level below 0.1%&then loading it into a thermally sealed metal village bag/box. these containers ensure that ppa raw materials need not be dried before processing. the moisture level acceptable to the processing process is 0.15%/lower. the processing of wet resin can reduce the molecular weight&cause the loss of mechanical properties. using a desiccant et dryer, it is easy to dry the resin to the dew point humidity of 25 f/even lower at 175 f. the drying time depends on the amount of water absorbed, usually within the range of 4 - 16 hours.
